Displaced Fractures

After a injury playing flag football he noted that the finger was rotated despite the splint that he was given (photo 1). The fracture could not be reduced and splinted, and therefore the fracture had to be reduced in surgery with temporary fixation before (photo 2) before the final plates could be used to secure the fracture. The rotation was completely corrected after surgery
